ADA1185 is a high-performance stereo CODEC with headphone drives and all audio inputs, outputs control and processing circuitries to form a complete audio subsystem. It is specially designed for consumer electronics applications such as, potable DVD, MP3 player with audio encoding features, DVR player, AC3 encoder/decoder, and Set-Top Box, etc. ADA1185 accepts voltage supplies from 2.7V to 5.5V and works well for both portable and desktop applications. A power-down control scheme is also implemented for power-conscious applications. The stereo DACs support audio sampling frequency from 16KHz to 192KHz and the stereo ADCs support audio sampling frequency from 16KHz to 96KHz. In addition to selectable multiple audio data formats and data bit lengths, a range of control features are provided via I2C/3-wire serial interface.
