KHTEK AD1170

Overview

AD1170 is a low cost 4-wire touch panel controller for portable applications with resistive touch screen such as, PDA, cellular phone, portable instruments, etc. AD1170 includes a 12-bit A to D converter and the necessary control circuitry to convert the touch screen pressure into digital data output through the serial interface to the host processor. In addition AD1170 integrates additional circuitries to provide battery monitoring and temperature measurement functions. AD1170 consumes only
500μW at its full conversion speed and 0.5μW at shutdown mode. AD1170 is provided in the very small 16-pin SSOP package or 16-pin TSSOP package.
